Why We Give
As part of the St. Ambrose faith family, we’re each called to help cover the basic expenses of our shared worship and parish life. We try to give regularly because those basic expenses are constant. We rely on one another for weekly or monthly gifts that support ALL our parish life in common.
We invite all parishioners and visitors to give what they can to help meet these basic, shared needs.
When you give to the church (tithe), you can also specify where you would like your donation to go, such as the Building Fund, Needy Fund, Youth Fund, or Investment Fund.
Please call the parish office if you have questions 515-288-7411.
Giving with Cash or Checks
You can drop your cash or check donations directly into the offering basket at any weekend Mass. You can also mail your donation directly to our office. We recommend using the tithing envelopes that have your information on them. That way we can send you a receipt at the end of the year for tax purposes. This is also important if your children attend a Catholic school.
If you need tithing envelopes, please contact the parish office at 515-288-7411.
