You likely enjoy the many beautiful pictures in our bulletiin of babies and young children who have been baptized at St. Ambrose. We are blessed to have young families in our parish!
The St. Ambrose Walking with Moms in Need core team is sponsoring a Lenten opportunity for all of us to help welcome and celebrate our youngest parishioners in a very practical way.
Donate March 18-19
You’re invited to donate diapers and baby wipes for babies and parents in need.
On the weekend of March 18 and 19, please place diapers (any size) and baby wipes in the boxes you’ll find at the south entrance of the church (the main doors by High Street.)
Receive March 26
If you need diapers, please come Sunday, March 26
The diapers and wipes donated by our parishiners will be shared first with our parish families with young children.
We invite these families to come to the Parish Hall on Sunday, March 26 right after the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
Then we help the community
Catholic Charities Food Pantry will receive extra diapers and wipes not given to parish families.
This food pantry at 1815 Hubbell Avenue supplies food, diapers and infant formula, and other personal hygiene items. Diapers in larger sizes, pull-ups, and wipes are often in short supply here.

Catholic Charities Food Pantry is just one of the places to be included in our parish directory of resources for pregnant and parenting mothers.
Creating this directory is a year-long project for our Walking with Moms in Need volunteers. We hope to share the directory with you in May 2023 –- in print and on our parish website.
