Preparing for
Your Child's Baptism
Before Baptism, parents of a newborn or young child are
invited to attend a 90 minute session that provides an
opportunity to share about the meaning of baptism in one's
own life, discuss the Rite of Baptism, and reflect on the
vocation of Christian parenting. These sessions are held
once a month, usually on a Saturday morning.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a conversion
process for adults interested in becoming Catholic or adult
Catholics who are in need of one or more sacraments.
Participants are invited to learn more about their faith,
the Catholic Church, and church teaching. Through the depth
and richness of the church’s liturgical year, adults are
invited to develop a deeper relationship with Christ and the
Body of Christ. Classes begin in September and continue
weekly on Sunday mornings through May. Because of our ethnic
diversity, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
process is offered in various languages.
